well the method stated by mranlet seens to be to be a combo between awd neutral steer and delicate input adjusting. but he is just over complicating things by incorporating traction circles and explaining how to do every little thing. I play golf too, and as they say "the less you do, the better off you will be". and besides, you can't "imagine" traction circles while ur driving. i can't think of anything besides driving when i am driving.

I actually tried driving my mom's auto s60r and, every body is right, it feels amazing. i utilize what i learned from FF drifting. I do breaking drifts. This is my theory: AWDs are actually ff's with -some- support in the rear. so i just do breaking drifts and sometimes when i need to sweep i quickly tap the e-brake a series of times as much as necessary to kick the end back out. but that is only in extreme cases to adjust my line halfway through a turn, you should practice so you know how much speed you need to have when entering a turn. but i do not "think" about the technique per se, i do.
read about the breaking drift in the techniqe section of this forum or go watch initial d (i think they mentioned breaking drifts in the middle of the fourth stage). They actually did a good job explaining the importance of braking in racing. and go practice ur behind off at some local high school parking lot. (i don't think ur grounds keeper is going to mind)

And Anlet, can we get some pics?

ps: i was jking about going to a high school. just try to find an abandoned parking lot. and seriously you shouldn't try to swing an awd sideways before you even experiment on another drive type.
The order of learning to drift different drivetypes:

FR-The classic, Easiest to control; RX7, Silvia

FF-Many people think that it's easy with e-brake use; but real men don't use the e brake for initiation. use weight shift techniqes; Civic, Rabbit

F4-typical 4wd format but very similar to ff's distro so it's a good transition; EVO, Impreza, GTR

MR-More exotic and hard to control in a drift, understeers a lot, so it would be best if you mastered left foot braking, these are marvelous gripers; SW20, NSX, Aerial Atom

M4-Ultimate gripy drivetype, my dream car = r8 the best race car; drift at your own expense; R8, Gallardo

Rear engine-Porsche's don't get it, as jeremy clarkson said:"it's a vw beetle, it's stupid"
well, okay, the engine's hanging off the rear, it's behind the rear axle so it gets more sever under then mr's.
