I see you post on this forums and alot of your post are a far fetched. Like you trying to get a 180sx imported for cheap. You have to understand that drifting is an expensive sport. There are so many things you are not taking into consideration. Like tax and registration on your car and installation on some of the parts , tires . You can always go getho style but still it takes up money.I would also say that your choice of mods are a lttle off like the roll cage, not a nessity for drifting. You should get a nice suspension set up first. I dont mean to be hostile but it bugs me. Also DC is a crapy rice brand. You could make nicer strut bars.

            My drift car cost:

            89-90 240sx = $1500

            sr20det swap = left kidney

full custom suspension setup = pancreas

progged ecu and custom rollcage = left testicle

Considering I have no money right now because of this jolly holiday, this seems like the way to go!

I always told people that I put a little bit of myself into every car I build.

180sx's aren't that expensive.$7000 could get you one.Are you getting the seat used? Unless your buying a crap seat or used, have fun getting something good at $150. You should get steel braided brake lines, rubber expands after being worked.Cooling should also be looked at,ifyou drift, your cooling system takes a beating. If your cooling system isn't taking a beating, your not drifting hard enough. The D1 cars have to lay off after a fun runs around, and these are cars loaded with some of the best parts and tuned by some of the best.

actually i have done extensive research on the 240(s13 for me) and made a spread sheet with all the top reliable parts to set up for drift and of course some body work for extra and my total came out to 16 grand and some change
the big parts were s15 conversion(sub bout 3 grand is you dont want the headlights and such)No mechanin help included.....
                    suspension
                    brakes
                    rims/tires
                    motor work to make reliable
                    and racing seats
basics such as these ohh and LSD
I have compiled many parts from SGPracing.com and others so i know im very accurate.(I hope lol)
If you wanna see the chart email me and ill send it to yah
