In the D1, do you think the judges give better scores for more smoke, or do they just look at form. and technique?

Personally smoke doesn't matter, but i like more smoke in a drift, just makes it look better, so the D1 drivers better pick the right tire compound.

They grade on: angle, speed, overall effect.

Sp i guess alot of smoke could be what puts you over the top.

croud reaction = smoke = points to in the D1

UK D1 is judged on -

entry speed, line, mid corner speed, exit speed, transition, style and crowd reaction.

some of the judges give you 0 points if you make a mistake!

do people still do the one hand thing in japan? I've taken to looking at the judges and pointing at them while sideways. Not looking where im going, just looking at them till you almost have to look back on yourself. they seem to like it. but maybe they want my man lovin? x
