For Christmas my girlfriend got me a digital camera. My parents got me some new rims.

Both are very cool gifts.

1990 Mazda Miata
GReddy turbo kit (6psi)
Vortech FMU
TurboXS cheap silent BOV
Flyin' Miata Springs
Autopower Rollbar

and now....16 x 7 rims!

I think they give my MX-5 a much more "roadster-like" look...I may paint the spokes bronze in the future, what do you think?

that's not tin foil!!! that's a heat shielding pad with a bunch of layers of heat resistant material. that little sheet cost me 30 bucks!!!

thanks. i accomplished that with some black spray paint and too much time on my hands.

i think it gives it a slightly more aggressive look.

Put a 13B in it!!! Nah. That would be nice though. Nice car. I like Miatas. There's a chick I work with that has a dark forest green one with a tan cloth convertible top. It's sexy, but she has no interest in cars. :(

very nice, i have a '92 miata. Do you mind telling how much you've put into the car? And also I can't really tell what you did with the big miata mouth. It looks completely covered.

this is actually my second miata. almost all the parts on this car were salvaged from the first car. the rest of the parts from the first car were sold off. the story on the first car is in a thread i made called "Burnt Miata Pics" in the pictures and videos section.

the first car (prepared for drag racing) had about 5000 dollars put into it on top of the price of the car.

the main fun-adder, the turbo, costs about 1600 bucks from GReddy.

as for the front end on this car in the pics, i pretty much just spray painted the bottom half of the opening. it's not blocked in any way, i guess it's just the angle of the pic.
