No look at the engine layout. It's facing a RWD configuration. It's RWD.

Damn thats nice. That F20C will put down some numbers in that hachi. Its different but I won't hate on it, Honda makes good motors - its capable. They could have just modded the stock 4AGE and gotten power that way. You can do some amazing things with a 4AGE.

Look at the motor it came out of a S2000 which is the only FR so yeah it is a rear wheel drive car this is one badass swap i my eyes i would luv to do that... I would rather do a 3 rotor tho...

The 20B is signifigantly heavier than the 13B-REW which I think would be a bit heavier than the 4AGE. That could potentially counter-balance the car. Not definitely, potentially. If unGodly amounts of hp is what you're after you might be able to do an LS1 swap for a lot cheaper. Might save a few lbs. while you're at it. Just my $0.02.

It really depends on the actual weight of those engines I mentioned and which is heavier. The purpose of the car would determine what motor you go with too. If you want a highway/straight-line monster, drop in a 2JZ-GTE or any big powerful motor and have a nice day.

If you want a faster, more balanced car either build up the motor, swap in an SR20 or 3S-GTE and you're good to go. I've seen AE86s drifted with both motor swaps and they did quite well.

20 b is still a light motor for what it is or i would go with a 13B out of a TII or a FD, Bust cost is lower so probably a TII motor

whats the point of even having the liscence plate where it is? theres no way a cop can see it while its on the road.

The S2000 lacks more torque than the rotary engines.
UGH!!! SPOILED TOTALLY SPOILED!! That must be FWD right?

Transversed engines are almost always FWD or FWD bias.

That license plate doesn't have to be seen, just has to be there.

As for the LS1 swap, I agree. I'd do an LS1 over a 20b anyday. An LS1 weighs in less than a 13B. Don't know how it would do in that Hachi though. That would be quite interesting. I like that Honda setup. I think it's cool. I'd drive it most quickly.

You serious? LS1 weighs less than a 13B? I thought it was the other way around. I've had thought about an LS1-powered, FD3S drift car. An LS6 w/ a few bolt ons, headers, exhaust and cam would be even meaner. Talk about staying sideways damn!

Sorry Drifting180sx. 13b with turbos is 40 lbs heavier than the LS1. The LS1 is aluminum block. You also free up more side to side room in the engine bay with the LS1 swap than the 13B twin set up.

Hinson supercars touring 7 with the LS1 weighed in at 2831 lbs with 50/50 weight dist. That car does autocross events and runs 11.4 at 120 mph at the track with the stock 7 rear end. That's with stock heads and a mild cam.

You don't change handling at all doing the swap.

somewhere there was a clip of a 20b powered 86 that vidio opt. did. It fukin flew all 600 hp of it, left the vid-opt boys in the dust.

Do you know how big an LS 1 motor is? How much does just LS1 motor weigh you never specified how much the motor actually weighs you just said how much the car that has it weighs

Its been on club4ag for a long time.

It's a cool car but I'd take a mildly built (150HP) 16v over that any day. Power isn't really important to me. Not in this car anyway.
