280ZX--Can anybody give me some info...
I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on the subject for me or give me a good link. I want to know about engine, tranny, good mods, and prices?

1979-1983 = 280ZX S31 chassis
powered by an L28e engine... 2.8L SOHC 5-speed tranny.. 180HP.
1981-1983 = 280ZX TURBO! Non intercooled.. same size engine.
Watch out for rust -

um, make sure there is very minimal rust, thatll be the biggest thing. check underneath the car to see how clean it is. the motors are almost indestructable in their N/A form.
as far as parts are concerned, they are pretty easy to find. atleast they were for me. i used this company in california(that is dedicated to Z cars) for all of my aftermarket stuff. i cant remember the name though. if i remember it i will get back to you.Comment
