Congrats to Kawabata. I believe this is his first 1st place victory. Also congrats to Maeda Ken for making it to best 16 in the Up Garage hachi. In other news, Ueo Katsuhiro put the hachi roku on the shelf to run the NKB's new Fairlady Z. Unfortunately the car still has some bugs to work out.

It will be interesting to see who takes home the season championship.

Don't know exactly why he made the switch. I suppose his new sponsor NKB has been taking care of him very well and they asked him the run the car so they could promote their parts. He's also been running the NKB S15 in D-1 Street Legal for most of the season.

Yes, it has an SR20 turbo in it.
