  • Ken Gushi

I saw a leaked thread yesterday about the gush, stating that he will team up with toyo, scion, and rsr for the 2008 season. For some odd reason i cant seem to find that thread anymore........any reason why?

sounds like a ricers dream team

Is this for drifting, if so we would have heard about it by now. At least saw a car or a press release.

i really think this is a joke.

                1) FD doesnt (or didn't) allow cars that didnt come from the factory with power going to the rear wheels in some form/fasion

                2) ken gushi is built ford tough

                3) konig makes wheels like that?

but then again, this could just be another reason to buy taco bell.

Eh im not so excited about this, i mean by all means congratulations for ken but it would be nice if toyota had something rwd they could really sport (xrunner). Its like another one of those arguements where it would be nice if drifting stayed to where the cars on the track were not all tht different from people's cars on the streets, who out there is going to convert their scion to rwd just to go drifting?

Does the Tc come in an AWD platform??? If not, how will this car be legal? Every FD rulebook from day one has not allowed FF cars.

Can someone from Formula D comment on this please.

                        Yea...RWD Integra...you're right. I stand corrected.

                        Taken from the FD rulebook:

8.1.1.3 Cars must have been originally designed as either Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) or All Wheel Drive (AWD).

formula d 04 they let braille enter their rwd integra. not to say it was any count, but it entered.
as far as drivetrain, i believe as long as its rwd, its legal. no matter how that rwd is achieved.
                          i could be wrong tho.
