      you have to walk sideways...

Formula D, can you do us a big favor this year and let us know where the "official" Formula D parking is going to be? 'Cause last year every lot seemed to have a sign that said "official event parking"

No one wants to get screwed over on that again.

Beyond that I'm lookin forward to it!

Is it too early to start the prediction thread?

Park at your hotel, take a taxi.

Yeah, bit of a mis-communication between the convention center, the city and the overflow lots. We'll have a map up on the site a week or more prior to Long Beach and hopefully better city signage.

long beach is one of the only FD tracks that would actually make me get on a plane to come see! so balls out and so unforgiving.

            good luck everyone.

When they added this track Formula D went up a few points in cool factor. I look forward to this!

Psshhh! you think I got money to burn?! I live in Long Beach so there's a good chance I wont be staying at a hotel. And do you have any idea what taxi prices are downtown? Nooooo thank you sir...besides I'm black I probably couldn't get a taxi to stop for me anyway.

I think one of the main people you guys need to talk to is who ever runs the parking structure at the Pike.

'Cause thats where I got royally screwed last year. They had police officers guiding people in and a big light up sign that said the Pike was "official event parking" but they still charged by the hour and would not accept Formula D ticket stubs as validation.

To me thats blatant false advertising and the people who dont know better (majority) probably thought that you guys were responsible for that.

I'll defintely be keeping an eye on Formula D site for a map to the real parking area.

                      Hey,
Does anyone have any insight on which grandstand (17, 18, 21, 24, 25) is best? Or what the difference is between lower and upper level seating? Are there any with shade?
I have never been and can't wait!!!!
Don't want to trust what ticketmaster says is 'best', so if anyone has any recommendations on which to get that would be great. Take care!

Grandstand 18 is the one with the judges on top. 17 is the grandstand to the left of 18 and 21 is the one across from 18. None of the seating has shade.
