I can't really speak for the other guys you mentioned but I've heard from a pretty reliable source that Rich Rutherford pretty much got fed up with drifting.

His Evo had a lot of mechanical issues and most of the expenses were coming out of his own pocket.

Im sure he still enjoys drifting but he decided that he would rather stick to making money with his stunt driving work rather than spending all his money on drifting.

I personally dont blame him but its a shame. If he stuck with it Im sure he would have a major sponsor by now.

Rich is a nice guy but his choice of cars was pretty bad if you ask me. EVO is not a good choice unless you do it like team orange. He would have been a lot better off in a car that was reliable, because trying to blast 400hp through an EVO's transfer case will result in a lot breakage and that equals frustration.
