Charlotte NC based drift group Street-Wise Drift has aligned with Doug Van Den Brink and D’Vanz Motorsports to support Doug’s participation in Round three of the Formula Drift Championship at Wall New Jersey.
As many people know D’Vanz Motorsports has been a 100% privateer effort. This support from Street-Wise Drift will enable DVM to complete the East Coast Leg of the FD Tour.
This sponsorship relationship with DVM and participation at the Wall FD event will further cement Street-Wise Drift into the fabric of the professional drifting scene.
Streetwisedrift.com will also be sponsoring the 11:00am-11:30am segment and the pre-race segment of "The Inside Drift" Blog-Talk radio program on Saturday June 6, 2009
About Street-Wise Drift:
Street-Wise Drift was founded by twin brothers Brian and Todd Phillips both of which have a combined experience of 20 years within grass roots motorsports. Street-Wise Drift left the starting line in January, 2009 and hasn't looked back since. Its the East Coast’s newest grass roots drifting competition series and the organization provides a drifting competition format that enables drivers to hone their skills towards competing at the professional level.

D’Vanz Motorsports Principal Doug Van Den Brink has been competing in the Formula Drift series on a limited schedule for the past three years and is part of the Ford Racing drift-demo team. DVM’s drifting accolades include multiple grassroots level event wins and winner of the 2006 Pro-Am National Championship. Before Van Den Brink found the sport of drifting, he amassed an impressive motorsports resume that includes stockcar national championships as well as numerous victories in a variety of road racing classes.
