Looking for Drifters

Hey everyone, my name is Chris Yates, I own XMS Productions, a motorsports film production company. We film all types of motorsports concentrating on sportbike stunt riding. I have been lucky enought to be conscience in the past year and realized how big drifting is getting over here in the US. After filming some drifting as a bonus feature to one of our videos we have decided to produce an entire video of your sport.

We are currently setting up a schedule for this fall, where we will film for everyday for 1-2 months. I am looking for drifters from all walks of life, from bone stock cars, to full race machines. Currently our website is moving to a new server so you can't view any of our work, but soon we will have our 15,000 original pictures back online.

Thanks for the replies guys, basically I am looking at a mid summer/early fall filming excursion...so you have plenty of time to get prepared--anyway, keep posting up if you are interested as I will use this to get in contact with everyone as my schedule falls into place. If you know any other good drifters that may be interested as well, please spread the word!

I am from Upstate NY, so the east coast is easy, but I am not afraid to roll the RV out west for a good road trip to see some talented drivers. During the 1-2 months I will be out, I will be filming motorcycles, dirt bikes, cars, etc..........so basically if you are any good and want to be in a film, I will try and add you to the schedule. While I am around if you have hot girls that love to be naked, insane toys--ie. shifter carts, monster trucks, quads, whatever---we love to film that stuff too. It seems someone always has "that one friend" that will try anything, and those are the people we love to film.

At a pro level--Worldwide recognition, a chance to be seen doing something you spend alot of time to learn and perfect, which if you want to become professional or have good paying sponsors you need to prove your value. If you already have sponsors you will now have another tool to show them your value as a representative of their company.

At a fun level--a chance to be seen with the best in your scene, a chance to go out and have a good time and have a DVD on your rack with YOU in it.


Obviously there are more benifits to taking part in a project like this, but if its not your thing, thats ok........just realize what you are pasing on

Personly I would like to see some video of you drifting an FF, I am also an FF drifter so i know that you can't hold an FF drift for vary long unless you are on wet,dirt or gravel courses.

if you are good i could use some tips.

Personaly i think this is a hoax, But if it is real.
Perhaps you could tell us...

Where are you currently tapeing?
What do the Drifters get out of it?
What kind of Course or set up is involved and where?
