im about this close from getting a 79 280zx | | and i was wondering if its a good drift car or a good car for that matter for everyone who helps thanks a lot

ZX's are pretty fat cars. They are great cars to have some fun in, but they are a little heavy. The Z's were alot lighter, the ZX's started going towards the comfort, technology garbage that all but ruined the poor mans sports cars. They also like to cop squats in every corner. The rear end drops down and can make for some weird steering. If you get it, lighten the crap out of it if you want to slide it and check around for some suspension settings. I would look for a Z first.
