    hello all,recently got into driftin,and am currently building a mk2 escort(uk).

always had an aptitude for drivin sideways so driftin is right up my street.

question though, how big a difference does a LSD make?

also,i notice a lot of the drift cars turbocharged, what kind of results should i get with a 2 litre pinto engine on carbs?
the escort is a fairly short wheelbase and light car.

with around 160 b.h.p and the right diff can i cut it with some of the import cars?

any information on this would be the mutts nuts!

    cheers.

Do some research on the 1984-1987 Toyota Corolla GTS. Also called AE86, 86, hachiroku, Levin, or Trueno.

You'll see it has plenty of similarities with your car... and that it is probalby the 2nd most popular car for drifting in the world.

You live in scotland. That IS an import car

You'll be fine. There's a zillion threads about limited slip around, check them out.

Turbocharging a 2 liter pinto engine on carbs would sorta be some work, although you can certainly turbochage carburated vehicles. To be honest, I would just rock your 160 horse and not worry about it.

I'm dope slapping the first person who says "Put an SR in it!".
