  • Truck Vs. Car

Just something I noticed the other day...

Say you are at a dead stop. Right up at a 90° turn. You turn the wheel and slam on the gas. Tires spin sending you forward and the back end sliding out from behind you. We all know that if you don't quicly correct your turn your car will almost start to wobbly as you try to correct the angle you are sliding at.

In my car, if I don't pay attention to the amount of pressure I have on the clutch and gas I can lose control easily. Though in my dad's S10 I don't have this problem at all. It seems to be much easier to drift with.

Is that because my car has a more powerful engine, or because the truck is much lighter back end?

I'm just curious. BTW: both are RWD the S10 is a 96 and has a 4 banger.
Working...
