im 16 i live in washington want a an 85-87 Corolla GTS for under $1000 any color (coupe) or (hatch)
must be a GTS must run and have no engine problems or rust
need it to be close in the seattle area

Good luck. They are out there but you are going to hard pressed to find one in that good of shape for under 1000. You may get an SR5 for that but I doubt you find a GTS.

Has been know to happen but no-one on this forum going to tell you where one is for that price, they would just go and buy it themselves.

its stupid paying 5000 for a stock gts or ae86...u can get a freakin silvia plus mods for that price...i wouldnt even pay 2000 (although it is a good deal for a hachi now) for one..its gonna fail on you and break down...if ur rich or doin it for a project...its your choice not mine...im not sayin that hachis are bad...but too popular and thats why theyre too overpriced..have fun trying to find one in drivable condition for 1000...it'll prolly be missing hte engine and salvaged

shoot back in 98 i got a clean 86 for $400 with 86xxx miles on it...it was a GT-S no less..

it rocked..now there hella over priced..just like civics.

oh if ya really want one..i got a model of one for $30, its JDM dawg

240sx is played out more then ae86. everyone and their mom has a sr20det swap. mine was built about 4 years ago and eversince then they started to grow in popularity is the states and all i hear is SILVIA this and that. Plus 240sx parts are easy to come by. go on ebay and see how many pages come up now. Back in the day there was like half a page. Now my ae86 is slowly doin the same. Im selling my s13 coupe, silvia front end, sr20det, teins, eveything..for $5200. if i was to sell my corolla it would be $10k nothing less. corolla by far is better for me. but im not a drag racer. im a gripper.

depends what kind of 240...hatch will cost more than coupe and depends on the year...youll be lucky to get a gts for 2k
