Not hilarious. D1GP cars are supposed to be street legal. Thusforth....a portion of them would naturally be street driven.....

Want an example? Nomukens four door skyline D1 car:

LICENSE PLATE!

driftersil80, that streetlegal thing is a new rule as of 2k5 d1. i doubt it was in place as of that time. and plus, i thought street legal was only a class, as is i guess un-streetlegal another class. im not too sure about the second statement, but i am quite sure that this car did not have to be streetlegal at the time it was in D1, if it was in d1.

*sigh* u guys are quick to call others fakes when you yourselves dont know what ur talkin about
Skyline GTS-4 ARE 4WD!!, they are regular skylines w/the atteza(or whatever they're called) the nissan version of Audi's Quattro system YES, they DO exist, so obviously for this thing to be a drift car it HAS TO(well, not necessarliy, but most likely) Be converted from 4WD to RWD

Im not sure if you were looking for a name brand but One-Off Parts= One Of A Kind Custom Made Parts and dont necessarily have to be name brand to be of high quality

What he most likely ment by NISMO Diff is a 2-way since that's perferred, you see just "diff" in the used car shopping guides here in japan, so you have to find out from the dealer, ofcourse if this is supposed to be his car, he sholda told use on the first post

im not defending the guy since the more i re-read his post the more he seems like a fake considering he wants $9000 when the price in the pic say 390,000yen = round $4000
Also, ever since the first D1, not once have i seen a RB20 compete in D1 considering those engines are considered a joke here in japan(little torque until you get into the 5grand range on the tach.) the SR20 is lighter, smaller, has the same displacement, puts out torque even at low speeds, and has a bigger aftermarket fanbase
course that doesn't mean i wouldnt take one for the right price considering im still driving round a honda

*oh yea, the body kit is a full vertex

Cars that have been used in D1 need to have a roll cage or saftey cage. This car does not have it. I'm sure it's his car, but I doubt it was used in D1.

You guys have no idea how bad I want a 4 door R32.
This car is awesome.

Anybody know what the pipe is that is coming out the fender? I thought it was maybe a wastegate dump pipe... but the engine bay shot shows... nothing.

Wow you do know 390,000 is only the price of the car right? and that it is still located in Japan? Shipping a car and clearing customs does cost money (not to mention inland shipping in japan and inland shipping here).....
and this car was an auction car which most importers post on there sites for sale...difference is he actually purchased this car.

the car owner..."Mr Josh Chan" has a 780 area code phone #. The car is in North America already. I will purchase the car immediatly. I will arrange shipping to Nigeria. I will send a cashier's check for $15,000.00 I will require the difference in money returned.

cars must retain interior panels, working radio, engine must have came in that car (ie a 1990 silvia with ca18det, cant switch to sr20det, no big deal cuase god why would you want to swap lol), cage yes,no carbon fiber,no carbon brakes etc. basically to make it now street legal cars.

3,284.80 would be the current conversion, lets be fair and round up to 3500
it does not cost 4500 to get a car here.

he can tell me what RI he is using if hes legit.

If you look at the pic of the engine bay you can see the pipe leading out to the fender in the upper right hand corner. More than likely it is used to vent hot air out from the engine bay. At least that is the only logical reason I can figure from the pics.

that looks like a hot pipe leading to an intercooler....even though you cant see the turbo or BOV on it. But in the pics there is a FMIC, and i don't see anything else that looks like a hotpipe, so a hotpipe, not whatever the thing leading to the fender is, is my best guess.
