JDM VQ35DETT swap F/s in SoCal - who wants the fastest Z/G35 around? ;)
Hey guys and gals ~
I work with Chris Milano at Milano Motorsports, and his Japanese importer found a SICK new Skyline GT-R motor for the shop Z, but Chris sold it before swapping motors, so I'd like to finally get it set up in someone's car - we're talking about a FACTORY Nissan VQ35DETT . I don't know if any of you guys have seen/heard about them, but its what's going to power the next Skyline GT-Rs, and is totally stock ~ I've got everything you need to swap into your 350z/G35, including the factory exhaust if you want it.
I haven't put it in a chassis to dyno it, but its got bigger turbines than the RB26DETT and lower compression than its NA counterpart, so we're all expecting 350 rwhp right out of the box, and we can go as mild or wild as you want.
$7000 for the entire package, picked up at Milano Motorsports in La Crescenta, CA, or...
$11000 swapped and set up to your satisfaction ~
shoot me an email at MilanoMotorsports(at)gmail.com or call me at the shop (818) 248-0770

pics on monday, promise
I've got G35 dudes jumpin all over this, but none are local, and we'd like to keep dibs on the car, and continue to tune it (at the owners expense, and to our enjoyment of course)
To add to the original post - engine has 10,000km on it, and has EVERYTHING from the car (ECU, all intake/exhaust piping, front mount intercooler, muffler - everything!) and is ready to go.
VRT currently has a very similar motor (built to JDM specs, but on a USDM block) in a G35c making 790rwhp on 20psi...

motor was imported from Nissan/Nismo for an "industry" function here in the US, now we've gotten the motor back ~ 10k km's on the clock, fresh as a spring breeze
Motor will drop into any 350z or G35, maybe that'll give ya a hint of what it came out of

Just clarified It's a VQ35DE with a APS turbo kit and exhaust. No such thing as VQ35DETT

hahaha clarified with whom? "no such thing" - I guess Nissan will be going to an aftermarket manufacturer to make all their VQ35DETT's for the new Skylines then??
Anyone who wants to come by and check out the motor, you're welcome to ~

i clarified the BRAND of turbo kit. Are you really that dumb? or is it an act? there is no such thing as a VQ35DETT, got it? sheesh...
Oh and I know where you got your container of parts, I know how much you paid for everything, and I know that is NOT A VQ35DETT MOTOR, cause it DOESNT EXIST!!!

please as hush hush as nissan is about everything with the GTR and they are gonna let you have and sell off the motor? riiiiight
the GTR is supposed to have electronically assisted turbos
and im guessing the motor is internally stock since thats the stock plenum, and is one of the first things people change when going for big power on a Z, in ANY country.

maybe your supplier misinformed you or something....but it looks like a 287 (non-revup) vq35de with an APS turbo kit on it.

looks like I'm the a$$hat
I asked Chris if the TT VQ in the shop was "factory" from a Skyline, he said yes (meaning stock internals, out of a G35) so I got all excited, took some pics, and posted it up ~ in-house misunderstanding... so I (Jeff) take the heat for this one.
For the record, some of you guys were right, its an APS TT kit on a VQ35DE (which explains why he's asking $7k instead of $30k lol)
Sorry for the confusion, anyone interested in pickin it up (still, its a complete TT kit with 10k KM's on the clock) hit us up
