FS: S5 TII w/ mods (~300rwhp@12-14psi).. SoCal
Asking $6,800 obo for sale as is* <- (note asterisk)
Engine: - roughly 5,000 miles on motor (rebuilt by myself using RA seals) - large streetported - broken in for 900 miles - Mazdacomp stiff motor mounts Power: - 3inch TID w/ Turbo XS RFL bov - T04B V-trim compressor on stock S5 turbine (ported wastegate) - 3inch dp -> gutted 3inch cat -> dual 3inch Magnaflow mufflers = LOUD Fuel: - Walbro 255 pump - new fuel filter - 550 primaries (cleaned and balanced by RC) - 700 secondaries (cleaned and balanced by RC) Cooling: - Koyo radiator - new thermostat Electronics: - Microtech Lt8 - Apexi turbo timer (not hooked up yet) - Greddy oil pressure and water temp gauge - Autometer boost gauge Drivetrain: - RB aluminum flywheel - RB HD pressure plate with 6puck sprung hub disc (~200 miles) - Mazdatrix short shifter - Mazdacomp stiff differential mounts - rear tranny seal is leaking (can be fixed easily by draining tranny fluid and popping off driveshaft) Suspension: - GAB adj. shocks (4way front, 8way rear) - Ligier springs rear ~1.5inch drop (front springs aren't installed yet) - Cusco 3point rear bar extension - Autopower 4point rollcage w/ harness bar and cross bar - EBC green brake pads - 205/50 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 front tires - 225/50 Dunlop SP8000 rear tires Body: - roughly 125,000 miles - couple very minor little dents on both doors - front bumper is pushed in slightly due to someone backing into my parked car & my lack of a bumper reinforcement - hood slightly damaged when it flew up and tapped the roof on the fwy (surprisingly, no roof damage) Deleted items: - all smog - OMP (running premix) - AC - rear sound deadening - bumper reinforcement * I can sell for as much as $1500 cheaper, depending on what I keep and/or sell with the car... Here's the breakdown (remember, these are "obo" prices): $6,800 = as is $6,550 = stock radiator $6,450 = no rollcage & cusco bar $6,300 = stock flywheel w/ stock clutch w/ stock shifter $6,200 = stock radiator & no rollcage & cusco bar $6,200 = stock S5 turbo $6,000 = stock ECU $5,500 = stock turbo & stock ECU $5,300 = stock turbo & stock ECU & no rollcage & cusco bar (still capable of ~250rwhp @ 12-14psi) Other info: Currently, the flange where the cat meets the y-pipe doesn't align very well making for quite the exhaust leak... Also, the sunroof is stuck in the tilted position... Pictures are before springs were installed... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yea, come check it out. I'm selling because I have a chance to get an Evo8 if I were to sell this.

Really? Well the FC is nothing but a smooth motor on a stubborn chassis in regards to what it was meant to be built as... a nimble sports car.
However, once I sell the FC and get the Evo, I'll build up another 1st gen Rx7... which is a REAL sports car. |

I wouldn't mind shipping it just as long as you pay the shipping charges.
*BTW, update: Just did some tuning on-load the other day with a wide-band.. car pulls AWESOME! Tuned to 11.2 A/F ratio with very conservative timing. Currently it's boosting 10psi... so the ported wastegate is working perfectly! Also, I popped out the bumper, so it's fixed. I believe at 10psi, I'm making about the same horsepower as a stock TII (stock turbo & motor) boosting at 14psi... which is around 250-270hp at the wheels. |
