Welcome to the site. I visited some provinces of the USSR right after the break up. Romanis and Bulgaria. Was alot of fun.

Now onto your questions. Read around the site and you will find an inordinate amount of vital info already posted on this site. Also many videos, directions and life experiences. It's a great community. My advice to you as a beginner is to get a copy of the Drift bible. Start there.

Hehehe, it's kinda fun to see some modded Ladas. Gotta show this to my brother, he has a '97 Samara hatchback.

Btw, for those of you in the US, I'm pretty sure they have never been imported in the states. My brother had problems going through the customs once because of safety regulations and whatnot.

Anyway, it's good to see that anything with 4 wheels can be fun
