Hi. Been Reading And Watching A Drifting Videos For Over 2 Years. I'm Getting My First Car This Year. I Want A Drifting Car So I Can Learn How TO Drift With It. My Question Is I'm Hoping To Buy A RX-8 Becuase I Understand That Its An FR Car. Becuase I Dont Want To Jump In A Import From Japan, But IN The Future I'm Hoping TO Buy An Rx-7.
My Question Is, Is The RX-8 A Good Car To Drift? OR Do I have To Set Some Things On It Or Does It Drift Stock? My Other Question Is Would It Be Better To Buy An Import rx-7? Please Help Me Out. By The Way I Live In Canada.

yeah fd3s is a good car but you can't really get them here in canada and i wouldnt want to import it from japan cuz it would cost like 25000$ o yah and the rx-8 is used.

yea man i hope i get a good car too, but you might not get what you want for your first car. Rx8 will give you a high insurance. Rx7's you might have to rebuild the engine if it has a lot of km's. |

a RX-8 would probably be a great drift car, However they are so expensive. Drifting is hard. I have probably just recently damaged some suspension components, so i will need those replaced. Alot of guys have crashed. You will destroy tires, and attract the attention of cops, A nice new shiny RX-8 will do that.
Get a inexpensive car a older second generation FC rx-7 or a Nissan S13 are good examples, both are lightweight rear wheel drive and have a good weight distribution. If your considering buying a new Rx-8 then you want have a problem picking up one of these cars. just look around towns, small towns at leas there are always a place for a good deal ont hese cars. A older toyota Corrolla 86 wouldnt be a bad idea, look in small towns like i said, because they will cost too much on the net. once you get a car, come back and i will give you hints and tips on learning. |
