Here we go again folks!

When.

November 29, 2009. Get there by 8:15 am, drivers meeting at 9:20 am. We drift until 5 pm. Then its cleanup time.

Where. Gulf Greyhound Park just south of downtown Houston. Just go to maps.google.com if you don't know where it is, and insert that name.

What to bring. Bring a running drift car, extra tires, a helmet, water, and whatever else you need. Don't bring a leaky car. Make sure you look at the tech form to make sure your car will pass before you bring it. http://fabricatedmotorsports.com/cra...ech%20Form.pdf

All convertibles must have a 4 point roll bar or greater. All cars that want to do tandem need to have a full cage. Everyone must have a real battery tie down, no more speaker wire like the last event, that will not fly. There are many options for under 10 dollars that are real battery tie downs, or nice ones under 50. That was the biggest problem everyone had at the last one.

All cars must have a muffler, or be quite! No stupid loud cars, period. This will be controlled by my judgement, but basically you WILL need a muffler. KA 240s, 4AG cars, 1JZ cars, they need mufflers. These are the cars that were too loud at the last event. CARS MUST BE REASONABLE IN VOLUME!!!!!

How to register. We will be doing a preregistration for this event. You need to paypal your entry fee of $75 plus 3% to erinshill at gmail.com. That is $79.25. When you paypal your money over, make sure you include in the text portion of the payment your full name, email address, phone number, car type, and anything else you need to tell me. I have also noticed you can select personal transfer, and you don't need to send 3% extra if you click that.

If you register and then decide you can't make it, just sell off your registered spot to someone else and tell them to use your name at the event gate to get in. There will be no refunds, but if you need to get out of your spot, just sell it off, and don't tell me about it, I don't need to know. That keeps it simple. It worked well at the last event, so we will do it again.

Again, all driver registration needs to be done over paypal in advance.

There will be a spectator fee of 5 dollars.

Wow, drifting in Texas. The last time I was there- it was 80% trucks and 10% stock econo-boxes. I had to explain what downforce was to one guy.

Best of luck- sounds like a great event.
