Xtreme Drift Circuit 2010 Schedule

Los Angeles - Irwindale Speedway: Saturday March 20th, 2010 (11am to 7pm)

Toyota Speedway at Irwindale is a motorsports facility located in Irwindale, California. It features banked, paved 1/2 and 1/3 mile oval tracks. Currently titled as "The House of DRIFT" XDC will run the course with a special surprise! Also featuring the XDC/REMIX Car Show with over 400+ vehicles competing for top honors. All day drifting, car show, stunt bikes, RC drift track, fashion show, model search, entertainment, food, and beverages... this will be the perfect launch venue for XDC!

Las Vegas - Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Saturday May 22nd, 2010 (11am to 7pm)

This will be the first time Drifting will take place on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway road course. Drifting typically done in the lots at this venue, this year... XDC brings you a whole new track option for drifters and road course enthusiasts. An amazing destination city for entertainment, XDC will make this the second round of a six round circuit. Also featuring Timed Lap Battles, XDC Car Show, Model Search, Stage Entertainment, and more!

West Virginia - Summit Point Raceway: Saturday June 19th, 2010 (9am to 9pm)

The first east coast venue stop with rolling hills of green. Summit Point offers a great destination venue with full road course and non-stop motorsports action. This venue will have the additional attraction of the annual HyperFest. XDC Car Show, Drifting, and Track entertainment all day long! Get ready East Coast, here comes the XDC!

New Jersey - Englishtown Raceway: Saturday August 7th, 2010 (11am to 7pm)
The heat gets turned up in the North East... because this venue is infamous for 1/4 racing, car shows, as well as Drifting! XDC takes the stage with the best of the best the east coast has to offer. Englishtown is the proving grounds for veteran drifters and young bloods alike. Full Scale XDC Car Show and all day entertainment to add to Drifting nirvana... XDC gears up all challengers to partake in the action!

Dallas - Texas Motor Speedway: Saturday September 25th, 2010 (11am to 7pm)

Texas Motor Speedway is a speedway located in the northernmost portion of the U.S. city of Fort Worth, Texas -- the portion located in Denton County, Texas. The track layout is very similar to Atlanta Motor Speedway and Lowe's Motor Speedway (formerly Charlotte Motor Speedway). The track measures 1.5 miles (2.4 km) around and is banked 24 degrees in the turns, and is of the quad-oval design, where the front straightaway juts outward slightly. The track is owned by Speedway Motorsports, Inc., the same company that owns Atlanta and Lowe's Motor Speedways, as well as the short-track Bristol Motor Speedway. This will be the first time, Drifting will take place at this prime venue! In Addition, the full scale XDC Car Show will be hosted along side with stage entertainment and model competition.

Phoenix - Firebird Raceway: Saturday October 16th, 2010
Firebird International Raceway is a quarter-mile dragstrip and road course in Chandler, Arizona, just outside Phoenix. It opened in 1983 and hosts the NHRA's Arizona Nationals. It held one IMSA GT race, in 1987. Due to its warm climate, it is a popular winter testing spot for NHRA and IndyCar teams. Drifting will lay claim at this famous venue as an annual hot-spot and finale event! XDC Car Show, Model Search, Stage Entertainment, plus so much more!

2010 EAST COAST Formula D PRO AM

March 13th
Charlotte Motor Speedway Concord NC
The Beast of the Southeast. We will be utilizing a majority of the Infield Road Course for this event. Features will include, Nationwide Garage for an Indoor Padock and an all makes and models KMS Car Show


April 17th
Charlotte Motor Speedway Concord NC
Round 2 will also be hosted at the Infield Road Course under a different layout than Round #1 with a concentration on early entry in preparation for Road Atlanta Weekend.

May 7th and 8th
Road Atlanta GA Braselton GA
Right next to the big boys for the whole weekend!! SWD will be running its third Pro AM Competition during the RA Formula D Weekend. Everyone knows what to expect from this place and its going to be freakin awsome.


June 12th
Z Max Speedway Concord NC ((AutoPalooza))
Z MAX is the Belogio of Racing Facilities. This event will be the first of its kind in the area and will utilize the massive Pro Pit area of Z max speedway for SWD's 4th Pro AM drifting competiton. SWD will also be featuring a Drag race along with an all makes and models Car Show.


July 10th
Metrolina Expo Charlotte NC
The Expo is where SWD cut its teeth when we came onto the drifting scene. We will be running a custom course layout designed by one of our favorite drivers Vaughn Gittin JR. This facility also boasts an indoor paddock, sheltered car show and will proove to be a great place wrap up our Pro AM series.

on your registration site it doesn't say entry fees.... how much is each event?
there is no qualifiying for a license so anyone who wants to try to come out can? we could have 100 drivers possibly...is there a driver cap? (100 drivers would take forever)
is their any prize money at events? season end? product prizes?

the phrase "only in rounds involving tandem competition" appears several times in the rule book.... is this to cover 'non streetwise series' events or are some of these a non-tandem competition round?

who are the judges, what is their background?

Great questions:
Yes, All events with the exception of RA are one day events
Pricing:
Local Pro AM / AM combined events are 100
Pro AM at RA 150
Amateur only events 75
Anyone can come out and compete.
All drivers cars must pass tech in order to participate.
The rules written out on our site at http://www.streetwisedrift.com/EventRules.aspx are specific to SWD AM series events.

Driver limits are usually set at 45 to 50
Pre registration and pre payment are required to reserve your spot in the grid.
Both Product and or $$ Prizes will be announced asap.
The SWD Pro AM Season will end at round 5 in July. Our full season runs until November

We will be working with various judges throughout year. Some of which are are or have been principle members of the professional drifting community. As we get closer to event days we will announce the judges.
