My favorite Jrod-ism is "Yard Sale" that was hilarious..Im gonna steal it.

All in all he was good except when he started doing the Irish accent and saying "they're after me lucky falken tires"...I was thinking at that point someone is going to send an angry letter.

Other than that it was all good...good job dude

When it came to keeping the event moving, this event is so far the best FD i've been too. Maybe it's due to the new judging system, but big thumbs up on that one.

And I understand completely on the 5 minute thing, but what you gonna do?

J-rod #1.

Some people might complain because some phrases may be repetative, but let me tell you...
That is WAY better than somebody who doesn't speak enough!

ex: when Jarod asked for some of the judges and other folks up there to talk.

Andy talks a lot..... but everybody else, I don't know........................

I had a good time. Except for the media mix-ups, it all went pretty smooth.

Also great driving from everyone.

My biggest complaint is the fact that to access the media area you had to walk through the red bull energy station. That itself was not so bad, but what was bad was the fact that all the people in the energy station kept walking into the media area and getting in the way of all the media people.

I also heard red bull was upset that we were walking through their energy station?

How are they going to be upset that our only access point to the media area was INSIDE of it?

I had a good time though. Going through all the footage right now. Should be up soon.

agreed

the media area wasent kept to just media. red bull people were walking in and taking pics with little point and shoots and getting in the way of real media. an entire media hole was over run by these d-bags with point and shoots.

also the treatment of media in general wasent that good. i felt like i was being scolded for doing wrong whenever staff would talk to me about doing something that i wasent doing in the first place.

also having the guy check for media badges was cool. but when people are doing video or photo..and the guy comes up mid shot and starts yelling to see your media pass...it kind of ruins the shot. especially for video people like me

They weren't upset that Media was walking through...they were upset that a lot of media were just hanging out in there and drinking all the free alcohol.

I'll admit I was in there for a while too but I thought it was a place red bull had for media/industry/red bull folks but really it was just for like red bull invitees and the like.

Ahhh, I guess that's why they were upset.

They could have completely avoided the situation and just gave us another entrance to use though. Still confuses me as to why the only entrance was through the station. Seems like something they would have thought over before-hand.

Coming from Ireland and spending two weeks en-tour from SEMA in vegas where i met J-Rod, Gitten and the Rogue Status crew for the first time i have to say that this event was the BEST drifting event that i have ever been too!!! I had the pleasure of spending some time in Venice beach with the RS guys and thanks to Jo for letting us park up in his driveway...lol it was a very tight squeeze!

I had a complete blast with everyone from the USA, NZ, AUS and of course all the boys back home who made the trip across for the event who met up with us roadtrippers in Long Beach!!

Naturally enough i would have LOVED my lucky Irish leprechaun suit bring back home a pot of gold but it wasnt to be this time, always next year and I for one will deffo be back cheering everyone and thats for sure to be sure to be sure!!

From me, Prodrift and all the Irish lads that travelled across for this event i want to say thank you for a great event and next year we will try not to be so quiet and anti-social and might meet some of you for a drink or two..

Ian Bergin/

P.S: Keep up the good work JRod!! i would have liked to get up and share a few words with ye but how bad! i enjoyed every minute of the time spent in Vegas/LA!
