I'd imagine you guys go into some of the math behind duty cycle ect so people with either engine can learn from this?

The main focus of the first DVD in the Engine Tuning Series is to show how to setup and operate the software.

Drifting.com is currently the only company that is authorized to sell this DVD.

we have been sitting on the raw content for a few months but we need to re-film the dyno section with a video capture.

the re-filming schedule has not been locked down, we might know more within 1-2 weeks

Opening the software
Loading a base map (always start with AEM’s base)
Setting up correct sensors for application
Setting up injectors and fuel pressure

Connecting to the ECU (can be difficult with obd-serial port)
Uploading your map
Setting the o2 gain (so gauge reads the same as the EMS sees)
THE START UP (yea now were getting some where)
Adjusting start up/warm up parameters
Getting it to idle (just for basic tuning)
Double check your timing/fuel maps (changes in sensors might make the map dangerous!!!)
How to do baseline (non-boost) VE mapping for A/F (low load)

(boost comp theory) predicting A/F load cells
How to set up and interpret logs (very very important)

Setting up o2 feed back
Tuning load A/F

Ignition timing tuning (dangerous subject)

1-What is "documented" in the 2 Disc Set?

2-Does this DVD cover theory?
NO, this documentary covers some of the basic operations of the AEM EMS Software

3-Disc 1? Disc 2? Vol #1?? I am confused???
Vol#1 has 2 Discs (Disc 1 + Disc 2)

4-Is this a manual?
NO, this is a documentary that runs for about 3 hours and 30 minutes

5-Why did we produce this DVD?
MANY customers who purchased our other titles called and requested that we produce a DVD that documents engine tuning

6-Does this DVD cover everything about tuning?
NO, This is JUST Vol #1, which runs for over 3 hours.

To cover most of the general areas we would need to release a few more volumes and the total run time for the series would be around 8 hours.

7-What are your future plans?
Our plan is to talk to the customers who purchased to first Volume so we can outline the topics that will be documented in the next DVD.
