After strong performaces at 6 Formula Drift Events, the Hankook Tire / Gruppe S Drift 350Z gets an engine refresh. In preparation for the Formula Drift Finale @ Irwindale Speedway, Gruppe S Master Tech Adam Depner, pulled the Turbo Charged VQ to be completely rebuilt, refreshed and cleaned from top to bottom. Irwindale is a track favorite for Robbie "Bushido" Nishida, so with a fresh car, the finale should be a great event for the Hankook Drift Team.

they should've waited til after Irwindale to rebuild. That is, unless something was wrong.

I would think most of these engines would be rebuild after every event or every other event.
