Bridges Racing and the American Red Cross in support of the victims of the earthquake
In light of the recent tragedy that has unfolded in Japan, Bridges Racing would like to offer our deepest condolences to the countless number of individuals who have been displaced and affected by the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and the tsunami that followed shortly afterwards.
We at Bridges Racing believe that giving back to the community and helping others who are in need is just as, if not more important than winning at competitions. In addition, we feel as if we have a personal connection to the tragedy that is unfolding in Japan since one of our very own, Robbie Nishida, was in Tokyo when the earthquake struck. We are currently in talks with the American Red Cross to set up a donation center on April 8th & 9th at Formula D at the Streets of Long Beach. This money will be used to help the millions of Japanese citizens who have been affected by this disaster rebuild their lives. Bridges Racing will also donate half of any winnings to the American Red Cross. Please stop by our pit area to donate whatever you can to the Red Cross. Any amount will be greatly appreciated by the victims of this natural disaster. Thank you and our thoughts are prayers are with the millions of victims affected. |
