Who's going to win the "Tire War" in Formula D 2011
With all the new tire regulations it looks like the companies will have more weight on their shoulders to produce a competitive tire for their teams. A couple companies have left and some existing companies have stepped up with new talent, who will reign supreme overall in 2011?
Falken? ![]() Hankook? ![]() Nitto? ![]() Cooper? ![]() BFGoodrich? ![]() Federal? ![]() Nexen? ![]() Kenda?

Whos running Cooper Tires in FD this year?
Why did you change your user name to Bebop? Why has Hankook Tire been relatively quiet in the last few weeks? What if God was one of us? Just a stranger on a bus? |

falken us have done a much much better job ( from an outsiders viewpoint ) than the others.
the vast range of machinery they sponsor and gain data from must also help them produce a more effective product overall. |

For the record hankook has
Forsberg Gushi Rhys Conrad Luke (new corvette) They really need to support Briggs/Nishida, I saw him as the poster boy from 08-10. |

![]() Nitto has: Maeng Essa Powers Tuerck (Assuming cuz of UAE?) O'sullivan (? assuming cuz Tuerck was on Nitto in UAE, but nothing official) Unfortunately, they are losing Alex P who I think could have been competitive in another platform. Overall, I think you might see a Nitto driver on a podium or two this year. I think people may be so focused on Hankook vs Falken with the superstar rosters that they may forget a bit about Nitto. |
