Masato Kawabata - tandems and angles are the best I've seen (imo)
Daigo Saito - fantastic at handling a large chassis
Nobushige Kumakubo - consistently strong at almost every event

Youichi Imamura - Most championships(3), did it in two different chassis, and he won the first ever D1GP event Ebisu 2001!

Nobuteru Taniguchi - 1st D1GP champion, Only champion in D1 to have a championship in Super GT as well.

Ken Nomura - Definitely the Dan Marino of the sport, 3rd place all time in points but zero championships. Most Definitely D1GP's poster boy....er man! lol

1. Kazama Yasuyuki - The coolest showman in drifting. + he is a cool guy, not a dickhead like Nomura Ken.

2. Tanaguchi Nobuteru - Most precise and constistant driver when he was in the S15.

3. Koguchi Yoshinori - Easily the dopest privateer / keepin' it real bad-a$$ ever.

but guys like - Minowa Shinji, Sakuma Tetsuya, Kuroi Atsushi are in that mix too.

just my 2rmb

Kazama was always a nice person and I won't forget his rodeo drifts and high speed entries at Irwindale.

Kazama

Kazama and Taniguchi. All-time most epic rivalry in all of drifting and best to watch. Doesn't matter if it's D1, FD, WDS, XDC or your mama.
