NO FD in Sonoma this year?

This is a discussion on NO FD in Sonoma this year? within the General Chat (DRIFTING Discussion/News and SITE Updates) forums, part of the General Forum category; I just checked the schedule on there's no infinieon planned for 2011?? FD is shutting out norcal? Really?...

This has been known for about 4 months now. The drivers did not like the track, and the whole FD experience outgrew the paddock space.

it was replaced with the FL date.

well this sucks. can't believe that they would just shut out Norcal like that. I would have thought they would have at least tried to find another venue. Looks like no FD for me this year.

Florida is a road course.... at least it supposed to be

@5150 if you can afford it take a vacation to irwindale or vegas

The east coast leg is solid with 2 road courses and one converted oval. The west is looking bad with only one street/road coarse, 2 ovals and a glorified parking lot in Vegas.

lol nice edit there... i was like wtf for a second

personally I think LV is up to par with PBIR with the way they laid it out

long beach is probably the most over rated venue imo

It kills me we have two Socal venues and notihng for Norcal. Might take a trip to socal like you suggest Bebop for Irindale but who knows. I'll have to wait till August and see how much drifting withdrawl i have by then!
