I wish the first episode wasn't a recap of the 2010 season....

.... but some of the go-pro footage that was in the montage in the first few minutes of the episode looks really promising!

Go Pro footage....Do not want unless its in the cockpit, side/top car footage is IMO one of the most annoying things about American Drifting. This is one of the only motorsports I see people strapping ugly black and silver cameras on top of cars. More Digger cam and In Car footage is what I would like to see.

I watched it. The top 32 coverage was MUCH better than last year, and the coverage of the runs was much more consistent (cutting to different shots of the same run, unlike last year). The voiceover guy butchered some of the names, and I think Jared and Ryan are much better than the voiceover guy overall. I thought the helicopter shots were cool, but really only useable once or twice before they get over-used.

overall, it's an improvement over last year, but still some room to improve.

I'm surprised they didn't show the Indy race on NBC, they replayed the ALMS race from the same track on ABC. In reguards to that, why take the time to shut down roads for a month for 4 days of racing and not repave the fastest part of the circuit?
