Drift Indy to Formula D in 2012

With Thanksgiving right around the corner and the holiday’s quickly approaching, their is no better time to announce to our friends, family and fans that we are forming Drift Indy Racing to compete in the 2012 Formula Drift Professional Series. It should come as no surprise that our wheel man will be will be noneother than Drift Indy Veteran Mike Feiock. Making top 32 at Long Beach, Atlanta, and Palm Beach piloting his FC3S, he’s no stranger to what it takes to succeed at the professional level. For 2012, Mike will be manning the Drift Indy Racing FD3S. New chassis, more power, more grip, more angle, and more awesome.

“Drift Indy has always been dedicated to excellence and hard work. It’s where I started drifting and they’ve helped me every step of the way. This seemed like the next logical progression was to work together to take on Formula Drift, “ stated Feiock.

The team will be lead and managed by Midwest Drift Union ProAm Co-Founder Edgar Sarmiento. The formation of the team will allow Feiock to focus on driving while we take care of the rest. We recognize the challenges associated with making it out to each event from our experience in the Industry and know what it takes to be successful on the professional level.

Expect announcements in the near future on the teams website driftindy.com and mfdrift.com with information the new Mazda FD3S RX7 build.
