  • Bunny, the Cone Killer!

Pictures from DDX/Nissan Owner Festival from California Speedway.

Drifted most of the course in 3rd gear. Lots of fun. Took the aggressive grip technique to work on low slip angle drifts.

This picture shows where I just barely cliped the cone.

besides keying the car one of them is going to jump right into the exuast pipe and block the pipe..

The exhaust is too big for the cone to get stuck in... Try a whole human arm. (don't go looking for pictures of my car online with my whole arm shoved into the exhaust pipe.) lol....

I wonder what cones must think of n00bs if they hate drifting.

KA+T... It's been turbocharged for 4 years now. The kit was put in November of '99.

Stock bottom end. Yes, 9.5:1 comp ratio too. Tons of use and abuse at open track events, and drift events. Bounces off redline like no tomorrow.

Boosting at 15psi for past 2 years. It's reliability has surpassed all expectation. So much that, my built motor has been sitting around waiting for the past year for this one to die.

The long duration is to put to rest that KA+T can't be reliable. For those that know me, know I'm one of the early KA guys. OG 240SX guy on the old Amarok list.

...anyway, I'm tired of waiting for the motor to die, so I'm pulling it and putting in the built motor for major power. Time to step up to the 450rwhp range. The current one is at 300rwhp. It's a very broad powerband. In 1st gear, the 255 width ES100 will break traction in the upper rpm range. I'll accelerate with a street launch, and by 5,500rpm, it will lose traction (yes, the car has VLSD). Same with 2nd gear.

The current setup with my custom cam selection, makes the engine very responsive and still have a good topend.

What kind of turbo setup do you have? Im guessing hybrid t3/t4 60 trim?
