i'd probably try tech discussion for that. kaaz is good stuff, nismo is good stuff, that's the most of my knowledge.

I would say go Cusco. Best LSD out there right now.

I assume you are talking about the Cusco RS? I'm sorry but In my opinion the Cusco runs a close second to the ATS DeftForce (2 way, racing type). The lockup is so quick and tight, I almost feel bad for having such an awesome part in my crappy car. I dunno, drive your friends cars and try some of them out before you go and buy one. Anything that people say on here is just an opinion anyway... that's my opinion...

That was a great reply. THank you for not flaming me and instead provideinsight and opinions. well done.

Anyways, you are right. I shouldn't have said that. I've never driven anything other than cusco so I wouldn't know. But, I like 1 ways for drifting, so cusco might make better 1 way LSDs

I love my kaaz. It's a little on the loud side, but it works so well once it's broken in. Just pop the clutch and the rear flys out like nothing and you can maintain the sweetest slip angles too. Nismo is quieter but I think more expensive. Everyone I know who uses Kaaz loves them, and the proof is in the pudding. Keep in mind that 2 way LSDs are pretty crazy for daily driving. Whenever you make a turn the inside tire will get some slippage and the rear end will hop around because it wants to break loose. Kind of annoying but nothing you cant handle. Whatever LSD you do go with, make sure you take the time to do the break-in/oil drain process correctly. Anyway, to make a long story short: I choose Kaaz!

Yeah 2 way takes some getting used to, especially in the rain. The ATS is expensive and very noisy. It costs about the same as a KAAZ just to rebuild it. I recommend going with the KAAZ if you are a beginner or if you are worried about money.

NISMO = Quiet, everything else = LOUD

NISMO and CUSCO are the only 2 that have endured the jgtc 500 iirc

coo, hmm i am curious waht you guys mean by more difficult to drive, i though LSDs would make your car handle more predictable and beter, and eliminate tire spin as well make it safer in the rain. is this not true?

Well in a way yeah, you get a feel for everything and you should know exactly when your car is going to break traction. As for when you actually do initiate a drift, LSD makes it so there's less guess work for when the wheels start to grab again; it'll allow you to prolong the drift and make it smoother and more controlled.

A 2 way is harder to drive in the rain. If you even touch the gas or the brakes before the corners exit you could lock up and break loose. It can be a little unpredictable. I think it's worth the risk though. If you are worried about it maybe you should think about a 1 or 1.5 way.
