240sx SR20 swap?

Okay, first off, I'm still fairly new to the "car-drifting world" so please don't bang on me if my question is stupid. >_<

I just got my 1990 240sx last weekend in almost perfect condition, with 122k miles on it for $2.7k, only thing it really needs is to have its brakes replaced.

I plan on swapping the original engine with an SR20 sometime soon(hopefully this year) when I have the money. But I’ve been having a hard time locating sites that can answer my questions. And sites that I've emailed about it haven't replied. So I’m hopping that someone here can answer them or post a link.

My 240sx is an auto, so I’m trying to find out if an SR20 is compatible with an auto trans?
