Music....

I was just sitting here, groovin' to some Paul Oakenfold, and was just wondering what kind of music all you guys listen to, not only while drifting, all the time.

They say you can tell alot about a person by their music, so i want to know what some of you guys favorite Bands/Styles are so we can all get to know eachother a little better.

If im tryin to "drive" i need to listen to the vehicle.

At other times though: im a DJ and i play Funky Breaks (FL stuff), hard trance and stuff. But i also like classic rock, specially southern stuff, and i like punk sometimes and then theres hip hop when the ladies are around LOL. whateva.

If i sold all that stuff i could buy another car...... I'm sure most of you guys have your own opinions and thats fine, but I CANNOT listen to music if im concentrating on driving. when im going to the grocery store no big deal, but when corners start showin up the stereo goes off.

I'd prolly get beat up for telling you what I listen to.. Besides at this point in time i am not advanced enuff to listen to anything but the car..

If anyone asks.. I listen to soultron's music (if you know him from the message board here). Check it out some time. It has potential for good drift music.

Ilisten to alot of industrial(haujobb, :SITD), some techno(underworld, hybrid), and 80's metal (iron maiden, megadeth) while I'm in the car.

While I'm driving serious no music. Just the roaring sound of TVIS haha.

Thats cool you spin funky breaks. I hear alot of that in Tampa. I even know a few people who are doing the same thing you are

Almost all the labels i get are from Tampa area LOL.

I have reason and acid pro, but I am in no way a "producer". i have a few songs that I have made, but i dont have the time/money/equip to put out real, quality tracks. But its the artist not the instrument eh? Producing is not really my focus, just another thing to spend $$$ on and play with.

If I am really driving, not music at all. But seriously guys, sometimes I will find myself listening to classical and instrumental. Sue me.. Um, for like, more modern day music I listen to trance and techno and all this "hardcore" stuff I used to listen to. Once I got a car I sorta fell out of that scene. Classical and Techno. : O

some people like it, i like trip hop, acid jazz, two step, and aesop rock, but when im in my car i like to get music thats suits whats going on around me if some other driver comes and starts reving his engine i roll my windows up rev back and when the light turns green go as slow as posible so his but takes of expecting he has the win right under his belt and im still listen to my music when he is hearing the sirens of the cop behind him chasing him down

I listen to a variety of music. I primarily listen to jazz, reggae -roots-dub-rocksteady-ska, political punk, underground hiphop, soulseek artists, classical, drum and bass, jungle, amen breaks, dancehall, the list goes on...

I also rock 1200's, and play a variety of instruments. I primarily spin ragga-jungle/amens and turntablism based vinyl. I've been producing a little here and there so hopefully I'll get some tracks cut up on dub plate (acetate plates for those of you who are clueless)

Here's one of my tracks.. Give me some feedback please!

Hmm My music

Just about everything except for country. I listen to mostly rock, techno, some of the classics... Mozart... stuff like that. I can listen to some rap, but i dont have a rap station set on my radio. Im kind of a "time of day" listener... in the morning i needa wake up so hard rock... in the day it can be anything... nights is techno...

while drifting.... the sweet music of my engine runnin and the tires burnin...

...or the other way around... NOOOOOO~!

hmmm when i drive i listen to mostly love songs coz i have road rage. it keeps me calm from the stupid slow you-know-what's that drive on the fast lane. but when im really tired or sleepy i listen to the initial d soundtrack coz it motivates me. like when Takumi delivers tofu in the morning. hahaha. reg days im into freestyle, techno, red hot chili peppers, plumb, rnb anything goes as long as its not hard core country or britney spears (shes hot but she cant sing sorry).
