I'm old fashioned All I used was paint and photoshop v.4.0

I aint kidding took 8hrs to complete.

I had no training what so ever. Self taught, well I had high school ART but that was back in 98.

So you used a text editor to make the layout?? Pretty damn good man. I used to use only Notepad but I could never make anything as good as that. I thought I was hardcore (I hated GUI's too). I eventually folded and now I use the WYSIWYG editors, but my webpages still suck. When I got into webdesign, CGI and Pearl was still a big deal. Nowadays they have DHTML, CCS, and a host of server/client side scripting languages that make my old stuff look like poop. I need to catch up!!

Well I didn't use text editor. All i used was paint. i just layed everything out the way I wanted it to look. Then i used the pixel technique script like top "345" left 675" just basics view my scripts it's all ghetto.

just click view- source

basically i taught myself how to build a web site i view alot of scripts. and this is what i have to show for it.

Now I'm totally confused. Looks like you're using CSS, but I cant figgure out how you created the layout with Microsoft Paint (I hate Paint).

With photoshop I just inserted pictures and toyed around with the filters. I just flip through magazines and tryed to come out with simular effects.

I taught myself photoshop when I was a bum for a year.

Sorry mom for takeing so long to get off my sack and find a job. I still owe you tons of $$$$$

For what i can see your codeing looks okay mst be the hosting.

I used photobucket.com for all my photo hosting they provide hot linking.

here's an example of an image code.
just change <u>http://emissionzero.com/pictures/emissionsupra.gif</u> with your own link. leave the "

I must be missing something because I don't see anything
fancy about this page. I see a supra graphics in the top left
corner and some text below.

And my sites are better (click sig to see them).

Please don't go bragging about your sites and how much better they are. That's all perspective and opinion. I think his site is good for paint, photoshop 4.0, and notepad. I use Dreamweaver , Photoshop 7.0, Flash, and Illustrator 10. Good job emission. Keep up the good work. If I ever move out to Cali like I hope maybe a few of us drifters could start a web design group.

You can find most graphics software at Best Buy, Comp USA, Circuit City, other electronics stores, and of course online. As for domains and hosts... that's costs money unless you don't mind ads out the a§... usually. I really need to get off of angelfire hosting. It's sh!t.

Here's my shitty sites:

version 1

version 2

Not bragging actually, just kind of confused as to what everyone
thinks is so spectacular about the site in discussion.

Maybe because I have been into webdesign/development (as a
hobby), I have a niche for what to look for and such and perhaps
it causes me to be judgemental of other's webdesign.

By no means I meant anything bad or to brag. Just my criticism.
Can't expect nothing but positive criticism all your life.
