Drifting Scene In Florida?

Hey sup guys. I'm new to Drifting but I have read up a lot both online and books and watched a large amount of videos. Where I currently live in the Eastern Caribbean (St.Lucia) though Drifting has not really caught on and its near impossible to find a suitable car, parts or many people if any at all to help you or at least give you some advice(Mass amounts of Haters here lol). I'm going to Miami for University soon and I wanted to ask around anyone who lives in Miami,FL or the surrounding area whats the Drifting scene like there? Are they friendly and open to new people and questions? Are there track days or other open drifting events? Any noteworthy car clubs and teams accepting new people? Just want to know a little about where I'm going to so any other advice or comments you may have feel free to make them and thanks for the help in advance this is a great forum!
