New to forum

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. Didn't know where to post this, but I saw "NEW" and "beginner." Loved drifting since I was 14 when my neighbor took me in a joy ride in his FD and took a turn sideways at 70 mph, came out of the car shaking. biggest rush I ever had. Then I found out about "Initial D" and later hit up the first D1GP in the USA, more drift events, and the first USA vs Japan at Fontana. Anyway, I'm now 22 and an owner of a 07 s197 mustang gt. I am on a mustang forum, but they don't talk about drifting all that much, mostly straight line. My experience is just doing some low speed practice drifts at my works parking lot when its empty. I know I could have used the search function, but I wanted to introduce myself. So my question is, is there anyone rocking a s197 drifting other than pros? What troubles have you hit with it weight, suspension, power wise? I am planning on purchasing a BMR stage 1 or 2 suspension kit and a fays2 watts link, would that benefit or take away drifting since they are designed for road course applications? Also, I live in so cal and I know its abundant in drifting clubs. I want to get into legal track drifting but i don't know really the process. Sorry for the really long post, but I am looking forward to the benefits of this forum.
