Thumbs up Tire Question

Hello,
I'm new to the drifting world so I would want know everything you need to know about tires.
such as:
- size
- brand
- width
- why do people put different tires in the back.
- etc.

Feel free to add anything you know about tires that I have not listed on top.

the front ones need good side grip and good front grip but the rear ones should have a large , predictable side slip and a bunch of front grip

Most of the time guys run two different tires to save money. Usually the rears will be cheaper. Other times, some guys will use different tires for different levels of grip.

How much front and rear grip you want really depends on several factors, but it basically comes down to driver preference. Either way, you do want a tire that is predictable when warmed up, gives you the grip and responsiveness you want, and doesn't cost too much to use (unless you have a great tire sponsor ). With that said, keep in mind that a 200hp Corolla can get away with mild 195mm tires, while a 500hp Supra is going to need something much stickier and wider such as 275mm tires.
