But to appese the masses i will change what i want to a Lotus Elise, Hardtop. I'd put a 5-point harness in it so it counts as "a mod." The own teh touge i think thats the going "hotness" for the touge

ultimate touge car = doesnt exsist.
what makes a car great is the driver....unless the car is a driving heap..ie crashed to much frames shot strutural damabe ect. there is no one great car...sure there are several great cars...but the only thing that makes a car a car is the driver. if you dont understand that...go back to the dmv and give them your license back. |

for my fav touge car, i say either hachi roku or s ichi san...both rather small wheelbase, rwd, and lightweight, makes for an awsome handling car, but it all depends on driver like drifterlunchbox said

you know what the best modifications are you can make for a touge car?
1. Practice 2. Personal Training 3. Self (Driver) Improvement it doesn't really matter what car or parts you have on it. if you suck as a driver, then you suck! |

Well first I would start with an 86 something along the lines of my old one, same suspension at least and body. Then move on to spend about $20,000 putting in an S2000 motor with a new headgasket to raise compression, run some ITB's with a standalone computer and cam gears, aftermarket header and a Greddy DD exhaust so it will push out about 270hp. After which I would add on a CF hood, CF fenders, CF doors and CF hatch with a lexan window. Strip down the interior and add a Cusco 6pt rollcage and custom weld 2 extra bars to make sure that in case of an accident I dont get killed cause im running CF doors. Then with the $10,000 I just saved I will take the whole board out to lunch, for a week. Now tell me what is more ultimate than a car pushing out nearly 300hp and weighing less than 2000lbs with driver. |

that would be pretty sweet, but how about an FF car. i was thinking an EP3 Civic in Championship white, stripped, carbon hood and hatch,Enkei RPF1 16"x7.5" up front with 16"x7" in the rear, RSX type R brakes, Momo monte carlo steering wheel, recaro SPG seat, Sabelt harness, a nice cage, Tein suspension w/ EDFC, Motec engine management, exedy clutch & flywheel, Type R transmission, upgraded LSD, and as far as an engine i'd put in the K20A2 that was in Sport Compact Car. around 300 horsepower, 215 ft. lb. of torque. it has huge cams, stroked to 2240cc w/ JE pistons and titanium rod, custom header, and ITBs. oh and i'd have a 2.5" side exhaust. this thing would deffinatley have to be touge only, deffinatley couldnt drive this thing on the street.

If I had fifty thousand dollars to blow, I would get a stripped out first generation 911. With lighened engine parts and a free flow intake and exhaust system, seam wielded frame, roll cage and I would still have twenty thousand dollars left over to travel to France, the swiss alps, and stelvio pass to drive it and have fun.
Edit:Then again, I can always buy the Arial Atom and have fun with that. But going on a gran touring trip through Europe on something that doesn't have a roof nor a boot to keep my stuff, not such a good idea. Last edited by atlantian; 06-16-2008 at 06:36 PM. |

Okay, fine, what would you say to a Gemballa Avalanche? With 800 bhp and nearly 800 wheel horse power, because the Carrera chassis distrubutes horse power so efficiently. The interior is stripped out but is still comfortable enough to go on a gran touring trip. You will need to be very talented to be able to drive that car at even half of it's potential.

I would be fine using as little money as possible.
i would have a 240sx with a 280z front end. I'd upgrade and tune the suspension. drop in a sr20de. (not turbo. i like the smoothness of the na) get a good lsd. some good wheels and tires. exhaust. I'd tune the sr20 for close to 300hp. that's more than i'll probably ever need. upgrade the clutch, drive shaft, motor mounts. relocate the battery to the trunk, and do other weight reducing and balancing things. put in a racing seat or 2 with a cage and 4point harness. pretty much your average good, but not superpowered drift car. I like them like that, and that's all i want. |

I just want something fast and something that has hard enough suspensions that I can feel and enjoy the road with.

This is easy...
2002 Spirit R FD3S. Color: Black With the following mods....
Engine: 350hp/400hp 13B-REW HKS T51Rkai Turbo Half Bridge Port 3mm Apex seals Light weight pullies V-mount intercooler setup ARC Radiator ARC BOV recirculated Tanabe downpipe cat delete pipe Blitz Nur Spec Exhuast Spec Clutch Fidanza Flywheel KAAZ 1.5 way LSD Suspension: Kei Office Coilovers Tanabe sway bars Lots of suspension tuning....too much to list. Over $5000 in suspension tuning alone. Body: C-West kit Fully gutted interior Caged full body stitch weld Defi Guages 2 Bride Zeta III seats Takata Harnesses Wheels - Tires - Brakes: Advan Model T6 (gold) Rims 19x9 +22 19x10 +25 With Advan Neova 225/45/R19 front 235/45/R19 rear Project Mu big brake upgrade...rotors,calipers,pads. That might be a little over $50,000 including the price of the car...lol But it would be one hell of a Touge monster. Last edited by NHDrifter; 06-24-2008 at 02:53 PM. |

Why coilovers? Separate springs and shocks are better.
How about a smart roadster shell with a stiffening roll cage, stiff springs and the engine and trans-axle from a GT3 RS. 415 brake horse power revving up to 8.4k, and would only weight half a ton. Now THAT'S a touge monster. Last edited by atlantian; 06-24-2008 at 03:18 PM. |
