I found a digital camera in the woods

Last week I drove to a nearby town. The town is surrounded by tall hills and mountains, and you can have a very pleasant hike down any of the numerous trails there. Anyway, I was climbing one trail and enjoying the good weather when I saw what looked like a silver box. When I approached, I saw it was a digital camera!

It's a 3.3 mpixel Powershot S20! Slightly scuffed, but otherwise fine. It rained the next day, so I was really lucky to get there when I did. The battery was dead so i couldn't see what was on it or what kind of photos were on it. When I got home, I also saw it had a 300 mb hard drive inside! This must be like a $250 value folks, I pity the fool who dropped it so carelessly. Anyway, just wanted to share. It also had some nice pictures on it, and I'm putting those up in this thread, hence the 56k warning. Not sure why some of them are blurred ... but some are quite disturbing.

I'm almost thinking these are fake, but I dunno, they look pretty real. It's like a mixture of the movies "Wrong Turn" (setting) "Signs" (monster thing) and "Blair Witch Project" (similar story and camera work, and camera 'found' in the woods). Something else I found, a skull in the trees.

That is one hell of a big wtf. Even if it is a big joke it is a good one. Where is that? I think I see a vacation comming, besides all that stuff it looks like a very nice place.

Pretty cool pics John... but I'm gonna have to call B.S. on these pics. They look staged and photoshopped. In every photo there is "something". Most of them have a bat/monkey creature somewhere in the photo. I really like the ones with the hunched over d00d in the background though. Submit those photos to like the Enquirer or some sh*t. Make some money on the digital fakeness.

After looking at the picture and the surroundings I think I know what the "spooky standing thing" is. The photo was taken through the floor of a fire tower. I'm betting this is the reflection of a park ranger in a rain parka watching for fires. Unless creepy monsters like clothes with hoods.

I still want to go there, it looks real nice. Looks like oregon/washington area. The thing I have notaced about the pictures is that the fod on most of them has a universal pattern and is infront of EVERYTHING in the picture... fake fog... it is easy to see this in the one with the thing in the trees. The guy is also all one texture where as the trees and the leaves all have multi textured surfaces. I think it is a pretty cool hoax and a well done school project.

"looks like a predator" I was thinking the same thing. Where is Arnold with the big gun blasting the hell out of the forrest?
