A different drift car.

Tempt Media's owner is currently building up his BMW e36 318 hybrid M3. The car has been around for ages and used to be a very known show car in CA. Now its a pure bread beast. Below are some photos of the car and a link to the onlineshowoff gallery of the car. Just felt the need to share Eric's pride and joy since he hasn't made his way over here just yet.

No disrespect or anything, but i dont really like the way BMW's look with big spoilers and body kits. Kinda makes it look ricy-ish. I think they look better with just nice wheels and maybe a suddle body kit. But nice driving and nice video!

Adam,
Everyone has right to their own opinion.
The car is awesome IMO.
Thanks for the compliments on the footage though.

Sorry... I can’t spell.

And I didn’t say it was THAT ricey, I just said it makes it look a little ricey in MY opinion.
I just like the way regular Beemers look. No need to flame me.

The car is actualy 100% done in some of the best suspension parts money can buy. I think it was due to the speed of that drift that the body roll came into play. If you watch the video of the car drifting you will see none. When I go to a drift event my car usualy sits the flatest.

VIDEO OF DRIFTING: http://importxdream.com/prototype_v1...portXdream.avi

you might need a divx encoder to view this: http://importxdream.com/prototype_v1...ivX521XP2K.exe

The wing its is a CF BMW LTW wing. It actualy serves a noticable purpose at high speeds. As for the body kit... I have my rice and eat it too

I don't know if it's just me, but that guy drifting the BMW seems conservative, and afraid. It kind of seems like he doesn't have the skill to drift it good. I heard the Bimmer's are pretty hard to drift too, so I guess I'll cut you guys some slack. Nice car though. Get your driver more seat time.

That was actualy my first time ever on the track. Scared?... I was drifting S turns 1 handed. It probly looks a little unstable because it was really wet out so there was a shitload of mud. Mud= verrrry slippery. I was laping people out there and probly comming into turns at 20+mph faster then everyone with us. No biggy though. Hopefully some dry track days will occure soon! Ill post more videos when they are up.

I was just thinking about it and the reason my suspension probly looks like it has so much roll is because that day I snaped one of my RCCAs and also ripped out half of my rear subframe. Sense them I have put in a new subframe, switched to solid bushings and use RE RCCAs.

My suspension setup is:

Suspension:
-Bilstein coilovers
-Roll Cage
-GC camber plates
-RE RCCA's
-AA rear strut brace
-CF front strut brace
-TMS sway bars
-GC rear shock tower mounts
-X-brace
-Aluminum front controle arms
-Solid controle arm bushings
-UUC red BBK
-Stainless Steel brake lines
-Axxis Ultimite race pads
-Solid Rear subframe bushings
-M3 Rear subframe
-M3 brake booster
-M3 front spindles
-M3 rear brakes
-M3 Rear axles
-M3 rear trailing arms
-M3 rear subframe
-M3 steering rack
-Are the M3 E-brake cables a mod?
-BBS LM 18x8.5
-Dunlop SP Super Sport Race tires 235-40-18
-RRT wheel studs
-H&R 10mm spacers
-etc...
