I would have gone for 6-spoked rims, but that's just because I don't like 5 spokes... Besides that it looks freaking sweet!

I think its pretty cool. I like seeing a mixture of cars in d1. I think it will give some insperation to those who have hondas.

Just watched JDM Option 6 again today, and saw how kickarse his old levin was, but as someone mentioned before, variety is nice. But him vs Alex... mm... pretty... *drool*

I was talking to him at TAS, and he's really excited to drive it. He loves his old car but he said it was holding back his ability to get to a higher level of drifting skill.

some specs from what I saw and what he told me:

full built motor + comptech supercharger, estimating 330PS or so (!!!)
full ASM aero everywhere
Mugen hard-top
full ORC carbon clutch setup
cusco 2-way

...he was pretty quiet about the suspension, I think he's approaching it kinda like alex where he's exploiting the amount of angle he can pull out of front of the car, but not quite sure on it.

seems like alot of 86 drivers are goin S2k. with alex, gen terasaki, and i heard ken maeda is driving one this year as well. well at least we can count on good ol UEO to continue with the 86 power!!.

I believe Ueo is retiring from d1 competition? Someone might want to verify this... either He is retiring or its the Yellow Upgarage 86 that will be retiring? Guy at JGTC/D1GP was pretty confusing.

from what ive read/heard ueo is sick and tired of d1 2 also. who knows he might quit sooner than you think

thats what i heard too, ueo is retiring. too bad maeda will reture his up garage ae86. he did good with that car this season. does that mean he will retire too or just the car?

hes probally gona quit casue he sucked really bad in 04. i dont kno what happened to him. he was so awsome with his hachiroku but now he just seemed to lose the magic he once had. =(
