It has a modded 4G63 from a Subaru WRX.

4g63 is not from a subaru, it's from a Evolution.

John has a series 4 motor or something. it's nuts.
and custom drive train etc.

looks more like an EJ20 or something..no 4g63 has intakes like those do

4G63 is the turbo motor from DSM. Came in Eagle Talons, Mitsu Eclipses, and Plymouth Lasers. 4G64 is the inverted brother of the 4G63. 4G64 comes in Evolutions.
