That sucks... I remember doing that when I first started drifting back 5-6 years ago. But thank god it was my beater 240 that cost me only $900.

what is sad about that video is that they were in a pretty nice spot where there is a lot of room if you mess up (at least compared to places I have drifted at on the streets). And just how they wrecked was pretty stupid. I think they just completed the RWD conversion and then went out on the street without too much practice or spending some time to set the car up.

i think thats probably y too....but MAN I LOVE THAT WAGON!!! i use to have 1 just like it, same color....but hes got some serious work in it, he was puttin down some power, and his RWD conversion was probably a good solid 1 that would've lasted to.....o well....all he needs now is a new shell...cause it looks like everything important can be saved....I LOVE THAT WAGON!!!!! ....well...except for those stupid tail light covers....

Damn that sucks. I dont like street drifting in the day, you cant see people coming. At night you can see the headlights. Best to have lookouts too. Cant believe that tree caused so much damage. Best to learn in an open area with nothing around you. My big heavy gas guzzler can go through multiple tree's and it'll be fine. No but seriously my friend went into 2 tree's with his Camaro and it only needed a new front GFX clip and new crash bar support foam stuff (all from junkyard). I've gone into curbs going 40mph, no damage. Even had one skid mark go towards the curb, up the side, over the top, and into the grass. I crashed into a fence once at the track, took out the fence. LOL. Only thing that can hurt me is guardrails!! I hope I dont ever show up in the "dumbass drifting" series.

Yeah I converted my WRX also, I practiced w/ it for a couple of months (Notice the DD tech inspect sticker on the windshield) but still crashed...

It was a pretty damn big street, but when i exited the apex i was still counter steering and in the lane of opposing traffic w/ a car coming at me...
I throttled off and my rear tires caught grip and i snap oversteered.... And slid sideways into the curb... It f*ed up my spuspension pretty bad...

But my baby is up and running and sliding again...
