Seen pics before but...
Isn't it funny how they don't use any real practical drift cars...
And also how the use a stang when they are in Japan....
if anyone goes and supports this movie....you should not be allowed to own a RWD car again.
And Lil' Bow wow as a drifter makes it 10x worse.

I'll bet that this will be as entertaining as first and second F&Fs, altough it won't be as accurate for drifting as we might hope. We'll have to keep in mind that these movies are always made for mainstreams and big audiences. But I'm sure that I will be watching this as soon as it comes out.

Mustang running an RB26DETT motor. Man, Hollywood loves to stir controversy. I don't know if i should feel sorry for the 'stang or sorry for the RB

Real drivers

The drift king Tsuchia was drifting as the stunt drifter for the movie so i guess you could say it is legit is a way . And all the drifting was done illegaly, hahaha. My buddy was contracted to cater the food and he said that the staff got arrested for having them drift for the movie. Im still bummed cuz he promised hed get my car in for the backround not sure if ill have the time to see it in the theaters when it comes to japan but ill definately see it on video.

Yeah, it's sad how they take someone else's pics and claim it's theirs.

Credits for the spyshots go to Geoff Chen.

It's because of simple logistics my friends. If you're making a movie, you can dub in different sounds.

You drift the V8 Stang, so if you crash it, you get another. If you crash a RB-powered Stang, you have to get a new car AND a new engine and stop production to swap it in.

My guess is that the RB26DET is the "hero" car, while the V8's are the stunt mules. In Gone in 60 Seconds Eleanor had everything from 351's to 428CJ's depending on whether power or handling was needed.

Just goes to show you never send a boy to do a man's job.

funny thing...

i didn't see fast and furious 2 at all. I was stuck on a 10 hour plane to singapore, and i watched 3 other movies. I turned on FF2, and I feel asleep within 10 minutes.
