Mar 11, 2006 - Drift Session, Group A Competition Video

Welcome back race fans to the Drift Session. It was certainly an action packed day as dozens of Hawaii's best drifters took to the track again to test their skills. Two additional drift competitions are coming up in the month of March, so beginners and veterans alike were out to polish their skills in an attempt to claim their space on the podium.

As a new addition to the competition, cones were placed on the clipping points in the judged corners and line judges were stationed to determine exactly how close drivers were coming to the clipping points. If a line judge's flag went up, that means that the driver was more than 2 feet away from the clipping point (with the front bumper of their vehicle). If the flag does not go up, it means that the driver was less than 2 feet from the clipping point. Want to know how it all turned out? Check out the video!

Awesome video, as always. sad they are tearing down that track, looks so good for drifting. Anyway, thanks for the awesome vid man

definitely some awesome drifting action.

Had Keoni been able to hold the slide all the way at the end I'd say he did a little better run than Jensen
