Drifting at Kawartha Speedway

October 1st, 2006

A couple of the DriftMania Drivers went out to Kawartha Speedway outside of Toronto, Ontario on Friday for a Drifting Demonstration.

There was pretty good crowd, and they we're pretty interested in the few RHD Vehicles that we had on hand, surely a different sight than people who are used to watching Stock Car racing.

The Teaser video is up, with the main video coming when I get a chance to fork through all the footage.

Keep in mind that none of these drivers have ever driven on a track with such high-banking corners before, so I think they did pretty damn well... That and the fact that it was about 38 degrees outside.

Marco Santos - G35
Haig Kanadjian - Blue S13 240SX
Robert Ricci - Yellow S13 240SX
Fred Girard - Skyline GT-S
Dominic Desrosiers - S13

Kawartha Teaser :: 12mb :: 3:51

Oh yea, the CARS run better, but because the track is super-cold, and the tires are super cold, doesn't help for trying to get any grip.

The hotter it is the better the grip.
