That is unreal. So awesome. I've also seen vids of formula cars on the touge and it is insane. Those drivers are fearless.

Awesome video, though that isn't an Audi R8. If I remember correctly that was a hand built hillclimb car with a 400hp BMW V6.

It didn't start out as a diesel, but it currently is. Because of class rules the R8 isn't technically a single seater. It's a little larger and has a different shaped nose.

Ok found it.

That car is a Norma M20.

A quick reference for those who don't know:

R8--Gasoline--Ran privately by Champion Audi during 2005 and the first half of 2006.

R10--Diesel--Won Le Mans 2006 and replaced the R8 during the second half of the '06 season.

And now, for you endurance racing fans (all 2 of us lol) the future of LMP1 as we know it:

Peugot 908--diesel-powered Audi-fighter. This one debuts next year

Epsilon Euskadi Concept

Lola Concept

Creation Concept

'03 Audi R......er I mean Bently LMPGTP

And finally, the best-sounding car on the entire grid
